While they are pretty mandalas and uplifting mantras

I have hardly begun to color in this book yet; it's been on my shelf for two weeks. It came folded or rolled a bit. The pages are really thin, so I anticipate that markers will bleed through. The ink is heavy and the spaces to color in between are so small, that the markers will mix with the black printed ink in the drawings and spread it around, and at the same time, damage your markers. I know the type, I've seen it before. While they are pretty mandalas and uplifting mantras, the quality of this book seems very low.

On Memorial Day this year, I went back in time and reread "Platoon" by Capt. Dale Dye. It was unreal----a trip back to my year in RVN.
Dale Dye captures the atmosphere and the reality of this important war for America in his book like no other Vietnam book. He writes like the warrior he was in Vietnam---lean and hard.
I would recommend this book as required reading for all American history students in high school and college. This is the war where America defined the warfare of today. This is the book that describes that turning point of America's will for a full scale war.
A well deserved 5 stars for the service Dye did in Vietnam and for writing this book. Semper Fi!!!

About the author:

Phoebe Palmer (1807-1874) is often referred to as the mother of the holiness movement. She ministered all over the world. fine romance

The Italian Doctor's Mistress is a great romance. The characters are vivid and well portrayed, and the Como Lake, Italy, setting is gorgeous. Anita, the hero's little girl, is a real charmer and quickly grabs the heart of the heroine and the reader. It is a tribute to the author's skill that the child never takes over the story but complements the developing relationship between the hero and heroine. The hero is strong yet tender, encouraging the heroine to let go of the heartbreak of her past and carve out a brighter future. He, also, has had sadness in the past, and ultimately realizes that can let himself love again. Another winner from Catherine Spencer.

Love this book

Love this book! I wanted it for the orangutan pattern but all the patterns in the book are amazing. I own all 4 of the zoomigurumi books and they are all very good. Directions are clear and I haven't found any missing steps or unclear directions yet like you find in some amigurumi books. Some patterns require more skill but simpler patterns are listed first and they increase in difficulty. If you are comfortable with following written crochet directions and know simple stitches then anything in this book is achievable for you.

Cute and easy amigurumi

This is such a cute assortment of crochet amigurumi patterns. I have the other three books as with this one, the pattern are easy to follow and have nice pictures. A joy to read and even more fun to work up the patterns.

The layout is beautiful. The patterns are great, with beginner projects as well as more advanced ones. I just love how it is a collaboration of different designers. It creates a super diverse collection to choose from. 5/5 for sure
