This book is very well laid out and does explain quite a bit with good detail and good pictures to illustrate the process of a rebuild. The only thing I thought was missing from the book would have been better detail on shimming the pinion gears to get the right pinion depth. There was not much detail on that. The book did go into how to install the shim but did not really mention how to adjust the depth. I had to watch videos on you tube to learn that. That was the whole reason for me purchasing the book. But like I said already it is a good book and will help the novice, like myself, in the rebuild of a differential.

Purchased book to rebuild a junk yard rear end so my car will not be down long. Book was just as the description said and is very well written and I cannot wait to dig in and tackle the job ahead. Came very fast as well in the mail. Sooner then what was on the delivery estimate.

This is a really good book- it's about rebuilding the differentials and not about selling someone's products. Gives you everything you need to know if you have never done it before and includes performance mods and advice. I recommend this book.
